It all started in 2004. Mélanie, Céline and Edmond Landwerlin bought “Hass”, the home of a former miller in Ensisheim, which had been left abandoned for many years...
It was here that a new page of the story was written for the family historically based in Baldersheim. The transformation took place over several years. The former miller’s house became a restaurant, seminar room and accommodation between 2005 and 2006.
At the same time, the hotel (65 rooms), spa and underground car park were built in the garden. 2011 saw the restaurant and hotel buildings linked; 2012 was dedicated to renovating the former villa restaurant dining rooms. In 2015, other than extension of the breakfast rooms, the Maison opened an outdoor pool with a large terrace.
In 2017, the establishment celebrated its 10th anniversary and there’s plenty yet to come...
